Hadestowns was such a fun show to costume with the industrial stylization. I got to customize overalls for the workers in Hades. In my garage, I hand-painted with brown, copper, and black to create the illusion of rustic/ distressed leather. I made detailing of studs with dollops of hot glue and silver paint on top. I was given 2 dresses to create Persephone’s Spring and Hell attire, which I cut up, added fabric, and created flowers out of the scraps to make opposite looks.
